Friends of the Herberton State school reunion
I am creating this site in the memmory of Herberton and all the hostel kids and in particular those territory kids that flew down from New Guinea each febuary
Old areoplanes and cyclones and other adventures.
I know that some of you will remember  and others can share some of our experiences.
I thank Herberton and the Herberton people that welcomed us to their town and have have left their mark on our upbringing.
I thank the educaters that gave use the tools to use in life
In my case
Irene Delgetty. for Maths and sience,
Mike Sideris. Technical Drawring. It is this skill that has been the basise of my technical and industrial life.

I have prity much done what I set out to do and some. So I proberly will not add much more.
Have added a nother class pic. Grade 7or8 1961,62?
Towards the bottom and will take time to load.

Our reunion was a hoot
We did not expect the emotional bonding that had taken place as kids
Spent easter with Robyn Rolly and Garry Conder.
It seems that there are get to gethers all over the place.
Be warned the is a lot to talk through and a little emotion for those of us that developed various conections and relationships.
Thank you Lyn McRobby for the minute by minute up date on the situation in Far North Queensland.
